Colorado River Cutthroat Trout

co-cutthroatThe Colorado River cutthroat trout is one of three subspecies of native trout found in Colorado and is designated as a species of special concern in Colorado. This species has been threatened due to introductions of non-native salmonids over the last century.  A conservation team was developed to coordinate conservation actions for the Colorado River cutthroat trout.  Read more on this species at the Colorado Division of Wildlife.
